細菌とウイルスの違いとは？
先日・・・というかかなり前の話になりますが、家族で福島県猪苗代町にある野口英世記念館に行ってきました。
そこで、以前からずーっと気になっていた細菌とウイルスの違いについて日英併記で説明したパネルがあったので、勉強のためにブログにまとめよう！と写メに撮ったものの、時間だけがどんどん過ぎていきそのままになっていました💦
せっかくなので、今日はその内容をこちらにまとめてみたいと思います(^^)/
①細菌とは？
人の役に立つ細菌がたくさんいます。目に見えないから分からないことも多いけど人間や地球にとって無くてはならないものなのです。
1. What are bacteria?
Many kinds of bacteria are useful to people.
There are many things that we do not understand about bacteria because they are invisible to the naked eyes. But they are in fact indispensable for both humans and the Earth.
②細菌の大きさ
0.5～10㎛です。身近なものと比べるとお米1粒のおよそ1000分の1のサイズです。
2. Size of Bacteria
Bacteria are 0.5～10㎛, about 1/1000th the size of a grain of rice.
③細菌の分類
目で見ることができない小さな生き物をまとめて「微生物」といい、細菌、ウイルス、原虫などが含まれます。形は球状か棒状です。
3. Classification of Bacteria
Bacteria are microorganisms just like viruses and protozoa.
They can be either spherical or rod-shaped.
④細菌とウイルスの違い
ウイルスのサイズは細菌のおよそ1000分の1です。そして、自分たちだけでは増殖ができません。
4. Differences between Bacteria and Viruses
Bacteria are about 1,000 times larger than viruses, and can mutiply by themselves.
⑤細菌の生態
細菌は2つに分裂することを繰り返してどんどん増えていきます。その増殖のために欠かせないのが栄養分と環境で、細菌ごとにその好みが決まっています。
5. Ecology of Bacteria
Bacteria grow by dividing into two. The required nutrients and environment are fixed depending on the species of bacteria.
